1. January exams: training for invigilators

   In anticipation of the January examination period, Academic Registry will be holding invigilation training sessions for LJMU staff throughout December.

2. Graduation review: Wednesday 10 July

   Students from Liverpool Screen School, the School of Law, Liverpool School of Art and Design and the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies received their awards.

3. £575k boost for student mental health provision in Liverpool

   A partnership featuring Liverpool John Moores University has been awarded £575k worth of funding from the Office for Students for a project to further develop mental health provision for students across Liverpool.

   LJMU is proud of its place in Liverpool and we are at the beating heart of almost everything that happens in the region.  However, with that presence comes a responsibility to be mindful and aware of our potential impact. In partnership with the other universities in the city, LJMU has embarked on a number of initiatives to work with local residents.

   A key initiative to put nature at the centre of planning policy across the Liverpool City Region has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.

   How businesses and students can help the Liverpool City Region become carbon net zero was the key theme of a summit hosted by LJMU.

7. Changes to Financial Codes - new guidance

   Effective immediately - The finance team has simplified the codes you use in systems like I-Buy

8. Lecturer's work featured in national showcase

   A project featuring a lecturer from LJMU will take centre stage next week (Monday 14 June Saturday 19 June) at the British Academys Summer Showcase.

9. LJMU partners with L8 community celebration

   On Saturday 25 June, staff and students from LJMU will join hundreds of people at Firefit Community Hub (115 Upper Warwick Street, L8 8HD) in Toxteth for a community fair and celebration of everyone and everything that makes L8 so unique.
