An international festival of art, music and performance featuring world firsts will be taking place in May to celebrate the launch of the Fabric District in Liverpool.
Baroness Valerie Amos, Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs, United Nations, delivered a Roscoe Lecture entitled ‘The role of the United Nations in a world riven by conflict, poverty and hunger.’
The investment banker and philanthropist gave an inspirational lecture as part of the Roscoe series delivered in partnership with the PH Holt Foundation.

The morning saw graduations from Maritime and Mechanical Engineering, the Astrophysics Research Institute, Electronics and Electrical Engineering and the School of Nursing and Allied Health. In the afternoon Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering and Technology Research Institute, Civil Engineering and Built Environment all celebrated their graduations.
The second round of paid Discovery Internships this semester are open until midnight on Sunday 17 December 2023. Interviews will take place before the end of January 2024 and the internships will begin from early February 2024 (start dates may vary for each role).
