  6. Faye Mills

    Faye is a 2023 graduate of LJMU, having studied law. She had, at times, a challenging experience at university, discovering she had dyslexia and a degenerative condition that impacted on her memory and conversation. But she showed resilience, courage and determination, with support from her family and LJMU, to successfully complete her studies.

  7. Rian Bailey-Weir

    Rian Bailey-Weir is a driven and accomplished LJMU alumni who plays a vital role in our Graduate Futures project, providing expertise and opportunities for our amazing graduates to seamlessly find work after they complete their studies.

  8. Social behaviour, ecology and conservation

    Our interest lies in the evolution of animal societies and the interactions that occur within these societies and their link to emotion, cognition and communication. We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds.   9. Alcohol

    At the Public Health Institute we look into alchohol consumption and harm across a range of populations and environments. We take up original research and study established datasets to understand the impacts of alcohol on society.
