As academics, we all understand the importance of assessment and feedback in enhancing student learning and achievement. The institutional assessment and feedback policy provides a framework for ensuring that assessment practices are consistent, transparent, and aligned with learning outcomes.
Now that Unitemps at Liverpool John Moores University is fully operational, this guidance for hiring manager and budget holders has been prepared between Human Resources, Finance and Student Advancement - LJMU’s careers, employability & enterprise service, within which Unitemps sits.
This week we have a number of institutional TEL updates (some of which are biggies) that we would like to pass on.
Liverpool John Moores University joined the Athena SWAN charter in 2014 and was first presented with an Institutional Bronze award in 2014, in recognition of ongoing work relating to gender equality. Since then, LJMU had a second successful submission of their Institutional Bronze award in 2017.
The Web hub is a web based facility providing 24 hour access to data relating to Programs, Plans, Modules, Students, Surveys, Applications and much more.
Faculty colleague Andrew Kennedy has kindly offered to share his experiences of using shared documents on Office 365 both to support student group assessments and also to facilitate active and engaging shared writing and proof reading activities.
Academic Planning and Information Services are responsible for the collation of data and the production of timely, valid and accurate student number related statutory returns required by government agencies.
