1. Careers Support for Students with Disabilities at LJMU

   In collaboration with a number of student interns, Student Futures have created a range of careers resources for students with disabilities or health conditions or those who are neurodiverse.

2. Federal loans

   U.S. students can find out the eligibility requirements and how to apply for federal student aid to support their studies at LJMU.

3. Volunteering and Summer Opportunities Fair - 9 February, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   At our Volunteering and Summer Opportunities Fair, we'll have charities, businesses and organisations from across the UK and overseas from various sectors. Some are looking for volunteers, others are offering paid summer opportunities, including Go Global schemes like Camp America.

4. Exchange students – accommodation

   If you are an exchange student on a programme such as SOCRATES or ERASMUS, you can find out all the information you need about your accommodation.

5. BBC presenter Jane Garvey 'tells it like it is' to students

   Students studying English at LJMU were treated to a special Q&A with the presenter of BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour.

6. Teaching and Learning Academy

   The Teaching and Learning Academy leads the development of teaching practice and enhances the learning experience of our students.

7. Support for students with a disability

   Find out what support is available to disabled students including financial support, adapted accommodation, Disabled Students’ Allowance and learning support plans.

8. Private loans

   American students interested in studying at LJMU can apply for a private loan via Sallie Mae. Find out the application process and eligibility requirements for private loans.

9. Enrolment, enrolled student, UKVI, United Kingdom Visas and Immigration, International students studying at the University

   Once you have completed your enrolment at LJMU you can settle down to enjoying everything that Liverpool and the University has to offer. However, it is important to remember that your status as an enrolled student at the University is dependent on you attending timetabled activities and completing all necessary assessments.

10. Sharing Practice – Supporting Student Collaborative Activities with Shared Documents in Office 365

    Faculty colleague Andrew Kennedy has kindly offered to share his experiences of using shared documents on Office 365 both to support student group assessments and also to facilitate active and engaging shared writing and proof reading activities.
