The Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Sciences work with external partners in the sport and exercise realm. We offer public engagement services through 'Face to Face' as well as research and consultancy services within our areas of expertise.
Our research aims to make positive changes to coach, teacher and practitioner development and inform policy and practice to improve people’s lives. We provide multidisciplinary approaches to our research with the aim of solving real world problems and pride ourselves in collaborating with industry partners.

Ami is an engineer with a passion for sailing. She is a graduate of the university’s BSc (Hons) Product Innovation and Development programme and has since gone on to make history as a member of the first all-female team to win an around the world yacht race on the Maiden yacht.
