   Over 60 universities across the country have signed up to be part of the Student Minds’ University Mental Health Charter Framework to support universities across the UK in making mental health a university-wide priority.

5. Salters' Festival of Chemistry brings together the next generation of scientists

   Over 50 school pupils came to LJMU to enjoy a day in the labs, as part of the Salters' Festival of Chemistry.

6. Silver award for support of the Armed Forces

   LJMU has received the silver award from the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) acknowledging how it provides support to the Armed Forces community.

7. Hats off to the Faculty of Education Health and Community

   At the first of the day's Graduation Ceremonies, education students from LJMU's Faculty of Education, Health and Community collected their certificates at Liverpool Cathedral.

   In the year Cunard celebrates the 175th anniversary of its first crossing, LJMU and Southern Connecticut State University jointly announce a trans-Atlantic alliance which will offer increased opportunities for students at both institutions.

9. Sensor City moves into Liverpool Science Park ahead of launch

   Liverpool’s Sensor City project has moved into Liverpool Science Park (LSP) ahead of the opening of its official home at Copperas Hill in 2017. Established hi-tech sensor businesses, start-ups and graduate entrepreneurs from across the region will be able to get access to leading experts and world-class research from the field of sensor technologies and learn more about how they can benefit from Sensor City in the run up to the building’s opening in July 2017.

    Two Architecture students and a recent graduate are enjoying a truly international experience thanks to LJMU’s Go Global Fund and the Erasmus+ programme.
