   Explore LJMU's Bibliotherapy, Reading and Writing for Wellbeing groups. Join events that support mental health and growth through books and expressive writing.

3. Changing your Microsoft profile picture

   Find out more about updating your profile photo. We have begun publishing all staff and student security card photos into AD/Azure. This means that the images will appear in Office 365, specifically Outlook and Teams.

4. Bathgate Boost Award

   Thanks to our partnership with the Bathgate Group Ltd, LJMU are able to offer a £500 award to current LJMU students for fledgling start-up ventures based in the Liverpool City Region and the Northwest.

5. LJMU does positive action

   Positive Action are programmes and initiatives which LJMU and other organisations can take to address the under representation of communities in the workplace.

6. Cost of attendance

   If you are an American student planning to study, or currently studying, at LJMU, part of the application process for a U.S. federal loan requires a cost of attendance to be calculated. 8. Volunteering and Summer Opportunities Fair - 9 February, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   At our Volunteering and Summer Opportunities Fair, we'll have charities, businesses and organisations from across the UK and overseas from various sectors. Some are looking for volunteers, others are offering paid summer opportunities, including Go Global schemes like Camp America.

9. Book in review: Using Simulations for Education, Training and Research (Dieckmann (ed))

   Simulation-based educators should read this book, particularly those who are involved in designing programmes of training or who are responsible for designing the simulator environment and purchasing equipment.
