2. Bathgate Boost Award

   Thanks to our partnership with the Bathgate Group Ltd, LJMU are able to offer a £500 award to current LJMU students for fledgling start-up ventures based in the Liverpool City Region and the Northwest.

   Explore LJMU's Bibliotherapy, Reading and Writing for Wellbeing groups. Join events that support mental health and growth through books and expressive writing.

   Learn about your postgraduate fees and funding options at LJMU, with tips on managing your finances effectively.

6. Race Equality Charter

   Liverpool John Moores University joined the Race Equality charter in 2022 and was first presented with an Institutional Bronze Award in 2022, in recognition of ongoing work relating to race equality.

7. Sharing Practice – Supporting Student Collaborative Activities with Shared Documents in Office 365

   Faculty colleague Andrew Kennedy has kindly offered to share his experiences of using shared documents on Office 365 both to support student group assessments and also to facilitate active and engaging shared writing and proof reading activities.

8. Self-employment

   Self-employment can be well suited to disabled or neurodivergent students and graduates, if you find it difficult to keep up with traditional work.

10. Athena SWAN

    Liverpool John Moores University joined the Athena SWAN charter in 2014 and was first presented with an Institutional Bronze award in 2014, in recognition of ongoing work relating to gender equality. Since then, LJMU had a second successful submission of their Institutional Bronze award in 2017.
