4. Public Health institute (PHI) host the European Federation of Environmental Health (EFEH)

   Public Health institute (PHI) host the European Federation of Environmental Health (EFEH) a regional branch of the International Federation of Environmental Health, which seeks to a provide means for exchanging information and experience on environmental health works to promote co-operation between countries

5. Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair – 10 March, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend this fair to meet and network with 50+ employers offering internships, placements and graduate roles.

6. Scientists deliver sustainable mining workshop in the Philippines

   Dr Patrick Byrne and Dr Emma Biles from LJMUs School of Biological and Environmental Sciences recently delivered a week-long sustainable mining workshop in the Philippines

7. Formula Student road to Silverstone explored in new 1823 Podcast

   In a special edition of the LJMU 1823 Podcast: The road to Silverstone, Dr Christian Matthews is joined by LJMU e-Racing Head of Team 2022, MSc student Cameron Reedy, and former Head of Team, Rhian Griffith, who now works as a mechanical engineer at the Small Robot Company.

8. MA Student shortlisted for ‘Tourism Young Person of the Year’

   LJMU student Victoria Smith, 24 was shortlisted for the Tourism Young Person of the Year award at this years Liverpool City Region Tourist Awards 2022. The awards, that took place at Liverpool Cathedral, saw businesses and guests from across Liverpool celebrating the city regions tourism sector.

9. Enhancements to 'See My Tutor'

   Changes to the See My Tutor system include a new landing page, enhancements to appointment booking, and the ability for tutors to capture and share notes from the meeting

10. Raising environmental awareness among schoolchildren

    LJMU has been awarded funding to help raise awareness and understanding of the climate, the environment and nature among schoolchildren in the Liverpool City Region.
