  1. Naval Architect

    The broad purpose of the occupation is the design and technical responsibility for the construction and maintenance of ships, boats, other marine vessels and offshore structures, both civil and military.

  2. Social behaviour, ecology and conservation

    Our interest lies in the evolution of animal societies and the interactions that occur within these societies and their link to emotion, cognition and communication. We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds.   3. About the Gender, Violence and the Criminal Justice System Research Group

    Based within the Centre for the Study of Crime, Criminalisation and Social Exclusion, researchers from the ‘Gender, Violence and the Criminal Justice System’ group ask fundamental questions about how gender is conceptualised within and across disciplinary and institutional boundaries.

  5. Alex Medlicott

    Alex is the Co-founder and Director of Liverpool Arts Bar on Hope Street and in the Baltic Triangle, founded with the ethos of supporting and developing grassroots artists across the city, giving them a platform to showcase and celebrate their work. Along with three fellow LJMU graduates, they opened the bar in 2019, survived the Covid-19 pandemic and can now boast that they have the city’s go-to venues for creatives.
