A new film telling the story of the fascinating final year of WWI English poet and soldier Wilfred Owen’s life has scooped a collection of international industry awards.
Baroness Valerie Amos, Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs, United Nations, delivered a Roscoe Lecture entitled ‘The role of the United Nations in a world riven by conflict, poverty and hunger.’
The ten students and now LJMU graduates, visited Nepal for a month-long Turing funded trip, working on the Dignity Without Danger (DWD) research project.
The project, which began 14 months ago, saw leaders from across LJMU’s ELT paired with Black and ethnic minority Liverpool city leaders to share their lived experiences and inform policy and decision making at the university and beyond.
There is a great opportunity for law students to debate human rights and international law issues with students from across the globe.
