   LJMU has published a new Open Access Publication Policy for its staff.

5. New humanities and social sciences research centre

   The Liverpool Centre for Cultural, Social and Political Research (CSPR) has been established to bring together expertise around humanities and social sciences to drive forward the impact of their work.

6. Launch of Liverpool Centre for Olympic Research on Inclusion

   LJMU has launched the first worldwide Liverpool Centre for Olympic Research focussing on Inclusion ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

7. Apprenticeships and Student Governance policy updates

   The new Apprenticeships Policy has received Academic Board approval and 20 Student Governance policies, guidance and pro forma have recently been reviewed, and have received minor amendments.

8. Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy update

   The Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning Policy (RPEL) has been updated to incorporate requirements for RPEL assessment for Apprenticeship programmes, and to reflect changes to governance related to RPEL.

9. New Diversity and Inclusion Policy

   The D&I Team has developed the Transgender and Non-Binary Policy for staff and students, with accompanying guidance.
