The last day of LJMU's 2016 Summer Graduation Ceremonies took place at Liverpool Cathedral on Friday 15 July.
We’re thrilled to learn that one of our Creative Writing graduates, Callan Waldron-Hall, was recently recognised for his outstanding writing at the Poetry Business New Poets Prize.
Over 135 students have graduated this March at a ceremony in Dubai.
LJMU student Victoria Smith, 24 was shortlisted for the Tourism Young Person of the Year award at this years Liverpool City Region Tourist Awards 2022. The awards, that took place at Liverpool Cathedral, saw businesses and guests from across Liverpool celebrating the city regions tourism sector.

In a bid to better connect students with digital and creative businesses across the Liverpool City Region, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Baltic Creative Community Interest Company (CIC).
LJMU received a £2m government grant to help SMEs, and has used the funding to partner with the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) to help transform regional industry through the use of a new Business Launch Centre (MTC@LJMU) based at LJMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
