  3. Suicide crisis and self-harm attendance at A&E in autistic CYP

    Research suggests that autistic people are at a higher risk of suicide than non-autistic people. Figures show that up to 66% of autistic adults had thought about suicide during their lifetime (compared to 20% of non-autistic adults), and up to 35% had planned or attempted suicide.

  4. Contexts of human evolution

    Research within the Contexts of Human Evolution Group involves archaeological, palaeontological and environmental analyses of human evolution. Our research focuses on mammalian evolution, hominin behaviour and ecology, and patterns of faunal and floral distribution.     In this CPD course you'll be able to assess different models of addiction and the mediators and moderators of addiction, with a focus on drug and alcohol addiction as major public health risks.
