  4. Dr Alan Bury

    Alan is a Senior Teaching Fellow with our School of Engineering and in 2023 was awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for Meritorious Service in recognition of his contribution to maritime education over more than two decades.

  5. Ian Meadows

    Read the oration for Ian Meadows on the award of their Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University presented by Dame Lorna Muirhead.

  6. Dr Carl Langan-Evans

    As a lad from Liverpool, Carl is similar to so many of those from the northwest region that stay and study here in Liverpool with LJMU. He has undertaken all of his academic studies here with us, and is an expert in the field of making weight in combat sports.

  7. School of Education facilities

    The School of Education is based at the Mount Pleasant campus. Trainee teachers will work within real school environments as well as within subject-specific facilities where required.
