  1. Student Futures Internships Programme

    In 2023 Student Futures ran a Green Internship Project with three LJMU students. Their assignment was to explore the area of Green Careers and Skills in more depth.

  2. Demitri Markavo

    Business and law foundation year student Demitri moved from Afghanistan to study in Liverpool with LJMU. He is one of hundreds of international students that study here every year and find a home in our city.

  3. Liverpool culture

    Voted the most cultural city in the UK by Group Leisure, when it comes to theatre, art and music there are plenty of exciting events taking place throughout the year - you'll never be bored in Liverpool.

  6. Sean Curran

    Sean studied law at Liverpool Polytechnic and was President of the Student’s Union. He has since gone on to become a BBC journalist, reporting on politics and parliament, often hosting LJMU students at the BBC and sharing career insights.

  8. Faye Mills

    Faye is a 2023 graduate of LJMU, having studied law. She had, at times, a challenging experience at university, discovering she had dyslexia and a degenerative condition that impacted on her memory and conversation. But she showed resilience, courage and determination, with support from her family and LJMU, to successfully complete her studies.

  9. Galaxy formation and evolution

    The Galaxy Formation and Evolution Research Group looks at population studies of dwarf galaxies up to the most massive clusters of galaxies, supermassive black holes and detailed modelling of the internal structure of galaxies.   10. Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

    LJMU’s varied programme of professional development courses offers individuals and organisations a range of opportunities to enable professional people to develop their career prospects and meet business objectives in a way that doesn't interfere with their working life.
