1. New Reading List Management System Launched.

   In January 2015 Library Services piloted the use of a reading list management system, Rebus:List with 27 academics across the University with a soft launch that Summer.

5. Business School experts to work on project exploring value of culture and heritage to society

   Dr Rafaela Ganga and Dr Steve Nolan of Liverpool Business School will act a co-investigators on a new research project looking to measure the value of culture and heritage to people in Liverpool.

6. Mind the GaP!

   Time is rapidly running out for Principal Investigators to be trained on the new Grants and Projects (GaP) system. It has been agreed by the University that any bids for external funding (research and enterprise activity) from April 2020 will need to be set up by the Principal Investigator on the GaP system, so its important that you book onto training ASAP.

7. Times Higher Award shortlisting for ‘star-shattering’ research project

   New technology using Artificial Intelligence alongside the famous Liverpool Telescope (LT), has been shortlisted for a Times Higher Education Award for Research Project of the Year 2017.

8. School of Education project inspiring next generation of teachers and students

   Spearheaded by School of Education lecturer, Adam Vasco, the two-year project aims to bridge the gap between school and university to ensure that people of all backgrounds, especially those from the Global Majority, have the confidence and support to choose university study.
