   LJMU student Victoria Smith, 24 was shortlisted for the Tourism Young Person of the Year award at this years Liverpool City Region Tourist Awards 2022.    Students from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Liverpool Screen School and Liverpool Business School gained real-world insight into professional boxing and PR with a campus visit from worldwide boxing promoters Matchroom and boxer Peter McGrail.

7. Changes to Harvard LJMU Referencing

   From the start of the 2024/25 academic year the institutional style for Harvard referencing is changing from Harvard LJMU to Harvard Cite Them Right.

8. International Scholarships awarded to 16 students

   16 students were presented with their international scholarships this week at a reception in the Student Life Building.
