Academics at Leeds Beckett and Liverpool John Moores Universities are using sound - and the short stories of Merseyside writer, Malcolm Lowry (1909-1957) - to bring to life the magnitude of plastic pollution in our seas.
Around 40 students will exhibit their ideas from MA courses in Fine Art, Graphic Art and Illustration, Art in Science, Fashion Innovation and Realisation and Exhibition Studies.

LJMU’s School of Art and Design has agreed a five-year partnership with Transart Institute in New York City, which will see the two organisations offer a joint transdisciplinary doctoral programme from summer 2020.
