An LJMU Social Work student has received national recognition after winning a top prize at the prestigious Social Worker of the Year Awards.
Students from the Liverpool School of Art and Design and the Liverpool Screen School celebrated their success in the morning ceremonies, while the School of Humanities and Social Science and the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies were recognised in the afternoon procession.
Students in Liverpool are benefitting from improved mental health support, thanks to a partnership between universities and NHS services across the city.
