  1. Sharing Practice – Flipped learning

    This week Chris Mackintosh and Milly Blundell have generously agreed to share their experiences of delivering a module using a flipped learning methodology.

  2. Hi-Tech Steel Services

    Hi-Tech Steel Services are a St Helens based steel stockholder and processor, with the capacity to process in excess of over 5,000 tonnes of strip mill product per month. LJMU were able to provide access to specialist academic expertise and offer a dedicated resource, enabling Hi-Tech Steel to investigate the options available to them.

  3. Astronomical Technology

    The Astronomical Technology Group is interested in optical and near-IR observations and the technology that facilitates them. Activities of the group include the operation of the robotic Liverpool Telescope and the development of its 4 metre successor.

  4. Cultural criminology

    Cultural criminology research within the Centre for the Study of Crime, Criminalisation and Social Exclusion.

  5. Water

    LJMU conserves water with metered monitoring, low flush toilets, water-efficient taps and free water dispensers to reduce plastic waste and carbon emissions.

  6. Suicide crisis and self-harm attendance at A&E in autistic CYP

    Research suggests that autistic people are at a higher risk of suicide than non-autistic people. Figures show that up to 66% of autistic adults had thought about suicide during their lifetime (compared to 20% of non-autistic adults), and up to 35% had planned or attempted suicide.
