1. Annual survey and audit of teaching space to take place this February

5. New mental wellbeing peer support

   We have a new team in place to help support any member of staff with their mental wellbeing. The LJMU Connectors are on hand to provide peer support and make sure colleagues have access to the appropriate resources and services.

6. Confidential Waste Policy update

   The updated policy includes further information on disposing of small amounts of confidential waste in confidential waste bins across the university and on how you can order secure bags for larger quantities.

7. Support for Young Adult Carers

   On national Young Carers Awareness Day, LJMU announced an official package of specialised support to ensure young carers are able to benefit from the advantages a university education can provide.

8. LJMU and Baltic Creative collaboration set to equip region with more creatives

   In a bid to better connect students with digital and creative businesses across the Liverpool City Region, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Baltic Creative Community Interest Company (CIC).

9. LJMU partnering in major police fatigue study

   The National Police Wellbeing Service has been awarded funding to conduct a study of their sleep fatigue and recovery biometrics programme in partnership with LJMU.

10. LJMU to co-host British Science Festival 2025

    LJMU is to co-host the British Science Festival in the city in 2025.
