6. Art – interviews with women activists in Nepal

   As a part of the Qualitative Analysis in Action project, you are invited to read the interviews with women who are changing the world of art and other creative ventures in Nepal. The interviews help us to gain a better understanding of these women's unique and inspirational lives.

7. Visit to House of Lords to discuss how to support disabled graduates

   Keren Coney, Careers Adviser in Student Advancement: LJMU's Careers, Employability and Enterprise Service, was thrilled to go to the House of Lords to meet with Lord Shinkwin to discuss how to support disabled graduates as they seek to enter the workplace.

8. Disability History Month: We caught up with the Staff Disability Network's Lucie Matthew-Jones

9. International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) - 3rd December 2019

   1981 was designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Disabled People and since then, 3rd December has been marked as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The day aims to promote a better understanding of disability issues with a focus on the rights of disabled people and the gains derived from their integration into every aspect of the political, social, economic and cultural life of our communities.

10. LJMU launch new Disability Sport and Physical Activity Network (DisSPA)

    LJMU were joined by Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE DL & Professor Greg Whyte to launch new Disability Sport and Physical Activity Network (DisSPA Network) this month.
