1. Bicentenary branded templates and assets

   To celebrate this special milestone year, we’ve added a range of branded templates and assets to our brand and design hub for all staff to access and use throughout the year.

5. Roscoe Lecture Series returns in our bicentenary year

   We are delighted to confirm the return of our ever-popular Roscoe Lecture Series, in this our special bicentenary year. There will be three Roscoe lectures in 2023 in March, May and October.

6. Eurovision volunteers needed

   The volunteering programme has officially opened, giving people the chance to be at the heart of this iconic event taking place in Liverpool in May.

7. LJMU Vice-Chancellor appointed to city region's new Business and Enterprise Board

   Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Power is to represent higher education on the new board.

8. The way to book catering internally is changing

   To help improve the catering hospitality service for staff, things are changing in the new academic year.

9. LJMU appoints Julia Midgley as Bicentenary year Artist in Residence

   Julia has a long history of connections with the university and will record events throughout 2023 in documentary drawing and watercolour sketches.

    July marks the celebration of Disability Pride month. An opportunity to raise awareness and have positive conversations about disability in study and the workplace.
