4. Prestigious Screen School appointments

   Two Liverpool Screen School academics, Dr Rex Li and Andrew McMillan have been appointed to the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Peer Review College.

5. Humanities PhD student awarded for outstanding paper

   Sean Creaney, a lecturer in Childhood and Youth Studies at Stockport College, who is currently studying for his PhD in the School of Humanities and Social Science, has just been awarded ‘Outstanding Paper’ in the 2015 Emerald Literati Network Awards for Excellence

6. LJMU Academic awarded National Teaching Fellowship

   Ester Ragonese, Associate Dean Education (APS) and Senior Lecturer in Criminal Justice has been awarded a National Teaching Fellowship from Advance HE.

7. LJMU Lecturer Dr Robert Macdonald wins Design in Mental Health Network Award

   An LJMU Lecturer at the Liverpool School of Art and Design, Dr Robert Macdonald, has won the Design in Mental Health Network Award (DIMHN) for his contribution to local mental health services.

8. Honorary Fellowship: Robert Hough CBE DL

   Liverpool John Moores University awards Honorary Fellowship to Robert Hough CBE DL at Liverpool Cathedral on Wednesday 13 July 2016.

9. Former Mayor of Liverpool Joanne Anderson awarded honorary professor position by LJMU

   Joanne joins Liverpool Business School as an Adjunct Professor.
