   Liverpool Pride takes place on Saturday 30 July and LJMU are inviting all staff, students and friends to join us at the July event.

   Ten Liverpool School of Art and Design students and graduates showcased their work in the Green Futures Field at Glastonbury festival.

3. LJMU scientists part of semi-finalist team in $10 million global rainforest competition

   Scientists from the School of Biological and Environmental Sciences will play a role in helping to improve understanding of the rainforest ecosystem

4. Maritime law lecturer named in top 100 list of women in shipping

   Anna Kaparaki, a lecturer in maritime law with LJMU, has been named in the list for the fifth consecutive year.

5. April/May exam timetable now live

   The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 22 April to Friday 3 May 2024 (inclusive).

   Professor Nigel Weatherill to step down as Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of Liverpool John Moores University.

7. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

8. Chancellor sees "extraordinary" health students in action

   LJMU Chancellor, Nisha Katona MBE, dropped in for a visit to the Faculty of Health and was moved by the “extraordinary students” that she spoke with and learnt new skills from.

9. Scholarships for new students starting September 2024

   Every year we award a range of scholarships from £1,000 to £5,000 that don't need to be paid back!

10. New hospitality ordering system

    LJMU’s Catering service will shortly introduce a brand new customer-friendly online ordering system for hospitality.
