7. International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) - 3rd December 2019

   1981 was designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Disabled People and since then, 3rd December has been marked as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The day aims to promote a better understanding of disability issues with a focus on the rights of disabled people and the gains derived from their integration into every aspect of the political, social, economic and cultural life of our communities.

8. World Menopause Day: LJMU hosts first 'Café' discussion

   LJMU is to hold its first Menopause Café to break down the taboo around menopause and to increase awareness of its impact.

   Our Student Futures: Careers, Employability and Enterprise team has a range of careers support over December and the festive break.

10. Careers advice for students and graduates with a disability, are neurodiverse or have a long term health condition.
