1. One to one appointments for careers advice

   Our Student Futures: Careers, Employability and Enterprise team has a range of careers support over December and the festive break.

2. Majority of April and May exams to be held online

   Most exams in April and May 2022 will be held online. There are a small number of examinations which will be held in-person due to specific requirements of the professional body.

3. Hate Crime Awareness

   Hate Crime Awareness Week is an important time to remind ourselves what constitutes a hate crime and what support is available both on and off campus.

4. Fox Street Village

   The University is working closely with Liverpool Student Homes over an issue that has arisen in a property known as Fox Street Village.

5. Microplastics ‘abundant’ in remote polar seas

   There are similar concentrations of microplastic pollution on the seabed in Antarctica as in the North Atlantic and Mediterranean, scientists have found.

6. Returning to campus

   Welcome back and happy new year the university has now fully reopened, and we look forward to seeing you on campus.  There are some continuing guidelines we require everyone to observe to make sure we can keep you all safe

9. Registration open for conference on decolonial approaches to teaching and research

   A mini-conference highlighting developments in decolonial approaches to teaching and research across the university featuring three sessions of talks and discussion on decolonising pedagogy, assessment and research methods, will take place in November.

10. Join the Pride March on Saturday 27 July

    LCR Pride takes place on Saturday 27 July and we will be taking part in the Pride March on Saturday afternoon.
