    Ruth is one of thousands of mature students to have passed through the doors of LJMU, furthering her own career in children’s care and education after gaining her degree in 2016.

  5. Aldham Robarts

    Aldham Robarts, an Honorary Fellow, trustee and passionate supporter of the university. Two out of LJMU’s three library spaces are named after Aldham and his wife Avril who generously made donations towards the building of both key student spaces after the incorporation of the university in the early ’90s.

  6. Global Summer Schools

    Together with our partner universities around the world LJMU are offering our students the exciting opportunity to take part in one of our international Better Futures Summer Schools.     Dr Susanne Zajitschek is a rising star within our School of Biological and Environmental Sciences, having been recognised for her impact on the student learning experience and her leadership potential in teaching and learning. Joining at the onset of the pandemic in 2020, Susanne has made a big impact at LJMU in just a short period of time.
