    Jasmine is the 2023/24 President of Liverpool John Moores Students’ Union and is striving to create better ways for students to get support for a whole range of challenges, particularly the hidden ones, that they might face during their time at uni.

  2. Ami Hopkins

    Ami is an engineer with a passion for sailing. She is a graduate of the university’s BSc (Hons) Product Innovation and Development programme and has since gone on to make history as a member of the first all-female team to win an around the world yacht race on the Maiden yacht.

  3. Student Futures Internships Programme

    In 2023 Student Futures ran a Green Internship Project with three LJMU students. Their assignment was to explore the area of Green Careers and Skills in more depth.

    Within the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, we're looking to recruit participants for a study involving changes in thermal sensory function.

  6. Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Power

    Professor Mark Power is the university’s fifth Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive, having committed to a lifelong working career at the university for more than 42 years. With a higher education career spanning four decades, some might assume that a traditional academic trajectory and a research-driven professorship would form a part of this Vice-Chancellor's story, but in fact his story is rather unique compared to many of his counterparts.
