  2. Steven Corlett

    Steven is a Client Systems Engineer with LJMU’s Information Technology Services. He started his career in Professional Services as an apprentice before eventually gaining a degree - the first person in his immediate family to do so. With a full circle view of how the university works, Steven embodies our student focussed approach.

  3. Ruth Mwandumba

    Former Sports Scholar Ruth is a champion in the sport of target shooting, the first Black female athlete to represent England and become English Champion in the sport and continues to get support from LJMU through its Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme. She has hopes of competing in the Olympic and Commonwealth Games.

  4. Gordon Millar

    Gordon plays a key role in Liverpool’s lively theatre scene as the Artistic Director and CEO of Unity Theatre, a venue that started life in the 1930s and continues to explore current societal matters through its performances. As an LJMU drama alum, he continues to support current students who were once in his shoes and is proud to have many new graduates working at Unity today.

    Read Ryan Paden's story - two years into his three year MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice, Northern Irish student Ryan has the job he wants and a bright future ahead of him.

  6. William Roscoe

    He is the father of Liverpool culture, a founding father of LJMU and best known as one of England's first abolitionists. The Roscoe name lives on through our public lecture series that fosters informed debate, broadens horizons and perspectives, and upholds the crucial spirit of intellectual inquiry and free speech in which Roscoe passionately believed.
