1. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

2. ADHD Foundation 'Neurodiversity Umbrella Project' welcomed onto campus

   You may have noticed a rainbow installation of more than 80 umbrellas in the Student Life Building. We're delighted to partner with the ADHD Foundation to bring the Neurodiversity Umbrella Project.

3. Enhancing the student experience through improved assessment and feedback guidance

   A project group has updated our Assessment and Feedback Policy as well as launched a new mini site of guidance for staff to utilise.

4. LJMU’s Football Exchange given spotlight at football industry awards

   Members from LJMU’s world-class Football Exchange shared their vision and insights on science and football research with their peers as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards.

5. LJMU rated highly in Teaching Excellence Framework

   LJMU has been awarded a gold rating for student outcomes and silver overall in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).

6. Academic Board election results 2023

   A host of representatives from our faculties, along with professional services, have been elected to the Academic Board following a series of elections that took place over the past fortnight.

7. LJMU honours Bicentenary fellows

   LJMU is to celebrate 10 new honorary fellows in its Bicentenary year at a special event at St George’s Hall this autumn.

8. Graduate Tutor Trainees join Positive Action Programme

   Six Graduate Tutor Trainees have begun a four-year programme at LJMU to gain invaluable teaching experience and strengthen the university's representation of Ethnically Diverse staff.

9. VC Awards nominations now open

   Nominations for the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Research and Knowledge Exchange 2023 are now open.

10. Making Every Contact Count training day

    This mental health training will take place on Tuesday 10 October, 9.30am to 3pm, Exchange Station G20 and 21.
