1. Your LJMU January exam timetable

   LJMU’s assessment period will run from Wednesday 4 – Friday 13 January 2023 and personalised exam timetables are now available to view online.

2. Take a quick survey to raise money for a local charity!

   The National Student Survey (NSS) launches this week for final year undergraduates. If you’re a final year student, you can help LJMU raise money for a local charity simply by taking a short survey.

3. Black History Month through the eyes of a local Liverpool pupil

   This month Ceana Khonje, a local pupil from Belvedere College in Liverpool took on a work experience placement here at LJMU.

4. Reserves Day and Armed Forces Day 2023

   LJMU is marking both Reserves Day (Wednesday 21 June) and Armed Forces Day (Saturday 24 June) as part of its pledge to support the Armed Forces community under the Armed Forces Covenant.

5. Chancellor boosts links in Asia

   Read more about LJMU Chancellor Sir Brian Leveson's first overseas mission to further the university’s global partnerships in China and Malaysia, bringing benefits to students at home and abroad.

6. Disabled children to fulfil their potential through LJMU partnership

   A new interactive online training resource will help schools unlock opportunity and help disabled children reach their full potential. LJMU in collaboration with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) have launched the project after statistics for attainment in primary and secondary schools show a significant gap between pupils with no identified special educational needs (SEN) and disabled pupils.

7. Poignant and unique artistic record of LJMU's Bicentenary year goes on display

   Julia Midgley: Bicentenary Sketchbook - A Window on LJMU's 200th Anniversary Year is now on display for an extended run until Friday 5 April, at LJMU’s John Lennon Art and Design Building.

8. Your new Academic Staff Governor Caroline Wilkinson

   Following a fortnight-long election period, Caroline received the majority of votes out of the eight self-nominated candidates and will now serve on the Board for the next three years.

9. Going for Gold at Tokyo 2020

   Good luck to all our LJMU athletes and sport science staff as they go for medal glory in Japan.

10. Honorary Fellow: Darren Henley

    Darren Henley OBE received an Honorary Fellowship from LJMU on Friday 28 November in recognition of his outstanding contribution to arts and culture.
