5. The lives of working mules: film screening and Q&A at FACT

   A POIGNANT film about the life of working mules in the Himalayas is the backdrop to an event at Liverpool FACT in March.

6. World-class status for Sport and Exercise Sciences in new academic ranking

   Liverpool John Moores University’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences has been named the 6th best department in the world according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) for the Sports Sciences subject area, highlighting the School’s global research influence. The results also show the School ranked as the 2nd best department in the UK and the 3rd best in Europe.

7. Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair – 10 March, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend this fair to meet and network with 50+ employers offering internships, placements and graduate roles.

8. LJMU and Baltic Creative collaboration set to equip region with more creatives

   In a bid to better connect students with digital and creative businesses across the Liverpool City Region, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Baltic Creative Community Interest Company (CIC).
