Double LJMU graduate Dennis creates incredible immersive experiences in the Liverpool City Region through his company Focal Studios. Combining his passion and interest for technology with art, his company maps out buildings and famous landmarks that can then be used as the canvas for magical, visual experiences that bring stories to life like you’ve never seen before.

Abdelrahman is a third-year biomedical sciences student. He came to LJMU from Egypt through the International Foundation Year and worked as a student mentor for fellow international students, to provide support and advice to help others settle into life in Liverpool.
International student Victory followed in her sisters' footsteps to leave Nigeria and to study in the UK. Choosing Liverpool as it was a vibrant and buzzing city, she has not only settled into life in the UK but also helped other fellow international students to do the same, by acting as a student mentor while undertaking master’s study in business and management.
Phil is a graduate of Liverpool Business School, having studied business, management and marketing. He now runs his own personal branding agency, OSSAI, which is going from strength-to-strength amplifying the voices of Black and diverse founders and CEOs.
Paul is an honorary fellow of LJMU, an award bestowed for his outstanding work protecting and enhancing the natural environment across the Liverpool City Region and beyond. He has worked closely with us to develop our Outdoor Learning Area and to realise our Natural Curriculum.

Jack is an LJMU graduate, who as someone living with a disability, has found great support during his studies and fantastic mentors at the university.
Phil has worked at LJMU for over 16 years. He’s currently the Student Inclusion Lead within the Student Advice and Wellbeing Team and has recently started a new role as Diversity and Inclusion Associate Dean for Professional Services. Since 2010, Phil has also led on organising and representing LJMU at the annual Liverpool Pride March.
