    Within the time domain astrophysics research group, we are involved in major observational survey projects. We work on a variety of explosive transients, including galactic and extragalactic novae, type la supernovae, core collapse supernovae, and gamma rays bursts.     An Honorary Fellow of LJMU for his continual pursuance of peace and one of the most memorable Roscoe lecturers to have graced the stage at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral for our popular public lecture series that has been running since 1997.
