5. In memoriam: Dr Jo Croft

   Dr Jo Croft, senior lecturer in English, died of cancer on 15 January. She was a dearly-loved colleague and teacher at LJMU for nearly 28 years.

7. LJMU hosts climate summit for businesses

   How businesses and students can help the Liverpool City Region become carbon net zero was the key theme of a summit hosted by LJMU.

8. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

   The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
