  3. Professor Clare Milsom

    From geology lecturer to Registrar and Chief Operating Officer, Clare joined the polytechnic as it prepared to become a university and has followed the journey of LJMU from its beginnings in the early 1990s to present day. She is passionate about the transformative power of education.

  6. Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics

    Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics Research Group is focused on the use of medicines and the delivery of healthcare. Our areas of interest include: evidence-based practice and service delivery in clinical pharmacy, health information needs and supporting safe self-care, and therapeutics.   7. Ruth Scully

    Ruth is one of thousands of mature students to have passed through the doors of LJMU, furthering her own career in children’s care and education after gaining her degree in 2016.

  9. Research Centre for Brain and Behaviour

    Within the Research Centre for Brain and Behaviour we are involved in research which looks at perception, attention, emotion, learning and memory, sensory and motor processes, and includes animal models of neurobehavioral research. We investigate cognitive and brain mechanisms in psychologically and neurologically intact animals and humans, and the disruption of these processes caused by drugs, brain damage, ageing or atypical development.

    Craig is an inspiring educator who embodies everything that LJMU stands for in 2023 - to be student focused, inclusive and courageous in all that we do. He was recognised in 2022 with a National Teaching Fellowship Award for his outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education.
