1. Amy's 'energy balls' boost Europe's women to Solheim Cup

   Europe's Solheim Cup stars had LJMUs own Amy O'Donnell to thank for the amazing energy levels that brought women's golf's top trophy home.

4. Final Year Future Week and Grad Café for final year students

   Graduating this summer? Join the LJMU Student Futures team for a week of talks and careers sessions focussing on supporting your next steps and come along to our Grad Café to meet and talk to fellow students graduating in 2022

5. £4k raised so far through NSS

   Final year students have raised £4,000 for charity so far, by completing the National Student Survey.

6. Long service awards

   The university has updated the Long Service Awards scheme to include celebration of reaching additional key milestones at 25, 35, 45 and 50+ years’ service.

7. Graduate and Placement Jobs Fair

   The Graduate and Placement Jobs Fair takes place on Wednesday 18 October at the Student Life Building, 12-3pm. It will feature 60+ organisations from a range of sectors looking to hire students from across all courses and disciplines. If you have a disability, health condition or are neurodivergent and find busy fairs can be overwhelming, join us from 11am for our accessibility hour.

8. Academic Staff Governor voting now open

   All Academic staff have until 5pm on Monday 19 June to vote for their preferred Academic Staff Governor candidate.

9. Annual survey and audit of teaching space to take place this February

   The survey will be conducted between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 5 to Friday 9 February 2024.

10. Knitting together different generations

    A special handmade LFC inspired banner was unveiled at the Museum of Liverpool, which has been created by local children and older persons from the areas surrounding Anfield Stadium, as part of an LJMU intergenerational project – the Sustainable Skills Café.
