1. Summer and graduate placement opportunities

   A great range of 200-hour part-time (20 hours per week over 10 weeks) and five-month full-time, paid student summer placements are currently available exclusively to LJMU students.

   Biomedical research team from LJMU, Australian National University, University of New South Wales and Melio healthcare publish study in Nature Communications providing evidence of major difference in how men and women react to prescription drugs

3. Applications open for Research England Policy Support Fund

   LJMU is being allocated funding from the Research England Policy Support Fund (PSF) to support the development of impactful research and engagement activities. Applications of up to £10,000 will be considered and applicants have until 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022 to make a submission.

9. 25 years of nursing at LJMU

   A year before Liverpool Polytechnic became Liverpool John Moores University, another major change happened at the institution. In April 1991, the Liverpool School of Nursing and Midwifery amalgamated with the Poly, laying the foundations for today’s School of Nursing and Allied Health.
