Research interests within the Health and Wellbeing Research Theme focuses on the psychological aspects of illness, health and healthcare delivery. Within the time domain astrophysics research group, we are involved in major observational survey projects. We work on a variety of explosive transients, including galactic and extragalactic novae, type la supernovae, core collapse supernovae, and gamma rays bursts. The overall aim of this proposed exchange programme is to bring together an international team of researchers with a wide variety of expertise in supply chain risk management, hazard identification and safety assessment, and to tackle the challenges faced by industry requiring specialist knowledge and innovation.

The (Post)qualitative Research in Education group recognises and works across the following areas of activity and interest: ‘Research in Psychogeography, Post-qualitative inquiry, Authoethnography, and Life-Writing in education’ (RiPPALe).
The Public Health Institute investigates interventions with the aim of reducing tobacco use. We look at the relationship between smoking behaviours and demographics, income, parental smoking, leisure activities and alcohol consumption.
