1. Bicentenary branded templates and assets

   To celebrate this special milestone year, we’ve added a range of branded templates and assets to our brand and design hub for all staff to access and use throughout the year.

2. New Export Controls and Sanctions Policy

   A new Export Controls and Sanctions Policy, in relation to research and knowledge exchange activity, has been approved and added to the LJMU Policy Centre.

3. Professorship and readership conferment call for submissions

   Applications are now invited for the 2024 process for the conferment of professorships and readerships.

4. Professional Services Staff Governor Elections

   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

5. Need help paying your energy bills?

   You could receive between £250-£500 from LJMU’s Student Support Fund, to help with your energy bills.

6. How to find and access defibrillators across campus

   We have 60 on campus which anyone can access and use in the event of an emergency.

7. Cook Together: Two more free lunches this February

   As part of LJMU’s support with the rising cost of living, LJMU is offering free lunches every Friday throughout February as part of our Cook Together initiative.

8. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

9. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

   Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.

    This Pension Awareness Week (11-15 September) access free, impartial, and straightforward pension information, as well as a series of live sessions.
