   The National Student Survey (NSS) 2024 is now under way for final year undergraduates at LJMU.

2. degree apprenticeships

   LJMU is set to expand its successful degree apprenticeship programmes after being awarded significant new funding. The university has received £1m from the Office for Students’ national fund to support level 6 degree apprenticeships.

3. LJMU funded bootcamp programme for staff

   We are funding 16 staff places on a new bootcamp programme which will see you complete ’24 in 24’ – that’s 24 sessions in 2024.

   LJMU’s Catering service will shortly introduce a brand new customer-friendly online ordering system for hospitality.

6. Students raise money for sick children by completing NSS

   Final year undergraduate students have raised over £5,000 in just two weeks for Claire House Children’s Hospice by completing the National Student Survey.

7. Alumna wins Golden Globe

   Claire Foy, star of the £100m Netflix series, The Crown, and graduate of LJMU, has won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV series.

8. Homeless: the human cost of austerity

   LJMU’s Public Health Institute and Library Services hosted an art exhibition to raise awareness of issues faced by homeless people in the city

9. University shortlisted for three THELMAs

   LJMU has been nominated for three Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards (THELMAs).

10. Centre for Entrepreneurship wins international recognition

    LJMU’s Centre for Entrepreneurship has received international recognition after winning the title of ‘Outstanding Program Abroad’.
