Sport and Exercise Science Professional Doctorate student, Tom Clark, visited LJMU last week in preparation for the start of the new Formula 1 season and to discuss his jet lag research. Tom has spent the past four years working with the Alpine F1 team and specifically their driver Esteban Ocon.

The UK Government’s Chief Scientific Adviser Sir Patrick Vallance and the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) Chief Scientific Adviser Professor Lucy Chappell visited Liverpool this week to learn more about the role of The Pandemic Institute and its partner institutions, in tackling infectious diseases.
The film - LJMU 200 - celebrates the roots of the institution founded in 1823 and how it has become the modern university that it is today in its bicentenary year.
Following a successful pilot scheme, from next week all staff will be able to access a brand new system to take ownership of their development and objective.
The outreach team, in collaboration with Shaping Futures and The Brilliant Club welcomed the Knowsley Parent Power group onto campus to experience Higher Education and university life.
Emily Shaw and Shay McSorley beat off competition from across LJMU, The University of Liverpool, Edge Hill University and Liverpool Hope University to be named the winners.
