  1. Charitable Status

    Liverpool John Moores University is an exempt charity under the terms of the Charities Act 2011. Under the Charities Act 2011, universities are supervised by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) as principal regulator, which is charged with ensuring that universities fulfil their obligations under Charity law.

  2. Staff Suggestion Scheme

    The staff suggestion scheme has been introduced to give all employees the opportunity to make positive suggestions to contribute to the success of the University.

  4. Undergraduate Recruitment Marketing Team

    The Undergraduate Recruitment Marketing team is responsible for the development and implementation of an institutional plan across the prospective student journey to support the achievement of annual home undergraduate recruitment targets.

  5. Generic job descriptions

    A number of generic job descriptions have been developed to assist departments in writing job descriptions for frequently occurring roles and to enable swifter grading turnaround times for these posts.

  6. Inspiring students to progress

    With the aim of inspiring prospective students, our outreach programmes work with schools and colleges, career advisors and parents, sharing specialist higher education guidance and advice.

    Report and Support is LJMU's harassment and sexual misconduct reporting platform.

  8. LJMU Funded internships and work-based learning

    Find out how you could secure an LJMU-funded internship with a local organisation, working on a suitable graduate-level project. Internships are available to Level 5 and 6 LJMU students and graduates from the most recent graduating class.
