  1. Capital Purchases (Fixed Assets) and Long-Term Revenue Commitments

    Capital expenditure represents funds invested in acquiring, upgrading and constructing fixed assets. A fixed asset is a resource the University controls and from which we can expect to derive future economic benefit for more than one year. Expenditure for any other purpose is revenue.

    Come and see one of your Procurement Finance Officers around campus who can answer your queries, guide you through processes, do live demos on i-Buy and chat all things Procurement

  3. Global Internship Programme – Work abroad

    For summer 2019, LJMU will be sending students on 2 month internships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Melbourne, Australia. The scheme covers flights, accommodation, insurance, work experience, networking events and might include trips or social activities too!

  4. Your LJMU, Your Voice staff survey

    LJMU carried out an exercise in the spring of 2023 to learn more about the experiences of staff working for the university. Your LJMU, Your Voice was a survey of all staff to find out how factors like our culture and values help them to do their job and feel part of the LJMU community.

  5. Outreach – widening access programmes

    Outreach at LJMU is committed to reducing the gaps in higher education. We deliver programmes to promote fair access to education, find out more about our activities.

  6. Student Information System

    The Student Information System is used for managing student information from the point of application to graduation.

  7. Charitable Status

    Liverpool John Moores University is an exempt charity under the terms of the Charities Act 2011. Under the Charities Act 2011, universities are supervised by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) as principal regulator, which is charged with ensuring that universities fulfil their obligations under Charity law.
