   We will mark Armistice Day by observing a two-minute silence at 11am on Friday 11 November.

4. Staff dental plan

   An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.

5. New Subcontracting Policy approved

   The approved Subcontracting Policy sets out the requirement for subcontracting provision for degree apprenticeships delivered across the university.

6. National Student Survey 2022

   We are launching the National Student Survey (NSS) 2022 to eligible final year students next week.

7. P60s now available on Staff Infobase

   P60s for the tax year 2023-24 (ending 5 April 2024) are now available on Staff Infobase.

8. Staff Car Parking Update

   Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.

9. Go ahead for new treatment for Black Bone Disease

   A new drug to treat the ultra-rare genetic disease alkaptonuria (AKU) has been given the go-ahead following research in Liverpool.

10. £4k raised so far through NSS

    Final year students have raised £4,000 for charity so far, by completing the National Student Survey.
