1. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

   This Pension Awareness Week (11-15 September) access free, impartial, and straightforward pension information, as well as a series of live sessions.

3. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

   Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.

4. Be part of our Validation and Periodic Programme Reviews

   Academic colleagues are invited to express an interest in becoming a panel member or chair for our Validation and Periodic Programme Reviews.

5. Making Every Contact Count training day

   This mental health training will take place on Tuesday 10 October, 9.30am to 3pm, Exchange Station G20 and 21.

6. Academic Staff Governor vacancy

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible candidates for the position of Academic Staff Governor to serve on the Board of Governors.

7. How can dance help our mental health - new research

   Psychologist Valentina Cazzato collaborates with Edge Hill in AHRC-funded project to understand the neuroscience of dance as therapy

8. Academic Registry invigilation training

   Training sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams throughout April and will cover the main aspects of the role of invigilators, including responsibilities prior to, during and following the completion of the examination.

9. Academic Registry results notification briefings

   Two Microsoft Teams sessions will take place later this month to assist LJMU administrative staff involved with the pre and post board of examiner process, including results notification.

10. Reportable Events Policy update

    Amendments are in line with the latest Office for Students (OfS) guidance.
