2. Armistice Day 2024 arrangements

   We will mark Armistice Day by observing a two-minute silence at 11am on Monday 11 November.

3. Student Information System Upgrade

   The University’s Student Information System (SIS) is being upgraded. SIS will be unavailable during the upgrade, from 5pm on Thursday 21st November until 8am on Tuesday 26th November.

4. Revised new student welcome webpages now live

   Staff are encouraged to take a look through the information we are sharing with new students before the start of the 2023/24 academic year.

5. Scholarships for new students

   Every year we award a range of scholarships from £1,000 to £5,000 that don't need to be paid back!

8. Win Love to Shop vouchers in our COVID student survey

   To help reduce the spread of Covid, Public Health at Liverpool City Council are conducting a survey of LJMU students.

9. LJMU ranked one of the top 10 best UK universities in StudentCrowd Awards 2022

   Based on online reviews over the past two years, LJMU is ranked as the 6th best UK university according to the StudentCrowd awards 2022.
